Define & Refine Your Pressure
(4 days, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm)
In horsemanship everyone wants to improve their feel and timing, right? Well, they come from the use of pressure and release.
We take pressure and break it down into the different types that effect horse-human communication, and bring your awareness to the places you communicate clearly, and the places that get fuzzy/lost in translation.
Throughout the clinic we utilize NeuroMovement® which helps you learn at a deeper level and gives you ways to get your brain more aware of your body so that you can improve the one piece of tack you use every time you're with your horse, your body!
-$450 person. Space is limited.
-Pens available for $10 per night
-Camping space available, no hookups

Here is what Sawatzky Equine in Alberta, Canada has to say about our clinic:
"What sets this clinic apart is its unique way of investigating one of the most foundational concepts in horsemanship – Pressure and how our understanding and awareness of Pressure affects our ability (and our horses) to have better feel, timing, refinement and confidence.
It starts with distinguishing and thoroughly exploring the different types of pressure available (mental, emotional, physical) and how to use them to communicate and teach your horse how to be more responsive.
In addition the clinicians teach a system of harnessing the power of your brains connection to your body (neuroscience) to increase awareness. The results of this unique addition is consistently causing better body alignment, less physical pain or discomfort AND better timing and release with the use of your pressure with a lot less effort!
This clinic is for anyone who is interested in Refining their understanding and use of all aspects of Pressure. It helps people and their horses be more effective and confident as partners.
